Preparation and Characterization of Spherical Mesoporous Material SBA-15 in the Presence of H3PO4

Article Preview

Abstract:

The spherical mesoporous material SBA-15 was synthesized by amphiphilic triblock copolymer P123 as the template in the presence of phosphoric acid. The samples were characterized by polarizing microscope, N2 adsorption-desorption, XRD and SEM. The experimental conditions were studied in detail. We found that the perfect spherical SBA-15 with a good crystallinity and narrow pore size distribution could be obtained at 4 mol/L phosphoric acid, mild stirring rate, and 10 °C reacting temperature.
