Welding of Aluminium Alloy Thin Sheets Using Variable Polarity MIG Method

Article Preview

Abstract:

Results of research on application of variable polarity MIG method for welding of thin sheets of 6082 and 5754 aluminium alloys have been presented. The influence of negative component portion in current and voltage course on process stability, joints quality and the microstructure evolution was discussed.
