Abstract.
So with the ongoing of large-scale infrastructure construction and increasing of existing structures’ serving time, the durability and life prediction of marine concrete structures have become important issues in the civil engineering field.
So determining durability parameters according to actual engineering, in order to reflect the influences of specific materials and environment factors accurately, is an important method for durability design and life prediction of marine concrete structures of infrastructure construction [5-7].

Test set-up and procedure
The testing set-up implemented at the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering of the University of Padova [8, 12] is composed of a steel articulated quadrilateral able to perform monotonic and cyclic tests.
The tests were carried out at the laboratory of the Dept. of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering of the University of Padova.
The research was partially supported by the National project ReLUIS-DPC 2010-2013 (University Network of Seismic Engineering Laboratories) and the European Project NIKER.

Abstract.
Some efforts have been made towards utilizing POFA as a partial cement replacement material in the production of concrete as well as in the synthesis of alkaline activated binder for civil engineering applications [3].
It will also promote the use of locally available waste materials towards the development of alternative and sustainable construction material for civil engineering applications. 2.
