During the last decade an increasing number of researchers focused on materials that have at least one dimension in the nano scale range.
That one dimension has immense impact on the physical and chemical properties of the materials, which is mainly due to the large surface to volume ratio.
Introduction Nano materials exhibit interesting behavior when compared to bulk analogue materials.

Tungsten oxide (WO3) film material is applied extensively because of its electrochromic property, gasochromic property, photochromic property, electrochemistry, etc.
In this work, the platinum-doped WO3 films [8, 9] were adopted for the sensor and the optical properties were discussed Experiment In the experiments of fabricating hydrogen sensitive films for SPR optic-fiber micro-sensor, tungsten trioxide was used as the basic materials, and the platinum-doped WO3 films were prepared with sol-gel method, magnetron sputtering method, and microemulsion method respectively, then the hydrogen sensitive properties of the films were tested.
