Research shows that when ceramic materials are replaced by nano- materials, the mechanical properties of materials can be greatly improved, mainly in the following three aspects: 1) the breaking strength is greatly improved; 2) the fracture toughness is greatly increased; 3) the heat resistance is greatly improved.
The application of nano materials to anticorrosion coating greatly improves the anti-corrosion coatings and open up new ways to anti-corrosion coating and new areas of application of nano-materials.It is a major innovation of anti-corrosion coating.

Great interest also derives from the reduced energy requirement for the manufacture of new materials based on geopolymers.
The applications of geopolymer-based materials range within the fields of new ceramics, cements, matrices for hazardous waste stabilization, fire-resistant materials, asbestos-free materials and high-tech materials [1,9,10].
MATERIALS AND METHODS The three MSWI ash samples come from plants located in southern, central and northern Italy.
