They showed that samples subjected to consecutive treatment produced larger quantities of glucose (85.2%, 88.8%, and 87.4% for C1, C2, and C3, respectively) than that of C0 (63.7%) and the post-treatment of steam-pretreated Lespedeza stalks with alkaline peroxide significantly changed the structure of the cellulosic fractions.

Abstract: Polymer gel is a kind of radiation dosimetry system that has been applied widely in radiotherapy treatment.
In this study, Raman spectroscopy has been chosen to evaluate and probe the changes in molecular structure of the polymer gels following irradiation.
Journal of Radioanalytical and Nuclear Chemistry, 2011. 290(1): p. 141-148

Introduction
Rare-earth orthoferrites RFeO3 (where R is a rare-earth ion) with distorted orthorhombic perovskite-like structure has unique magnetic properties, such as spin reorientations and rare-earth moment orders at low temperature [1,2].

Abstract. The NiO/BiVO4 composite photocatalysts were synthesized by hydrothermal method and were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscope (SEM), UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectrum(UV-vis DRS), Energy Dispersive Spectrometer (EDS), BET techniques.
At a given time interval, the reaction solution was centrifuged, and the Methyl Orange concentration was detected by UV-vis spectrophotometer. 3 Results And Discussion 3.1 XRD analysis Fig.1 XRD spectra of as-prepared samples 20%NiO/BiVO4(A)24h,(B)30h,(C)48h,(D)pure BiVO4 Fig.2 UV-Vis DRS patterns of as-prepared samples with BiVO4 and 20%NiO/ BiVO4 The phase structure and purity of the as-prepared pure BiVO4 and the as-prepared NiO/BiVO4 were determined by XRD, and the typical diffraction patterns were shown in Fig. 1.
