Introduction
Catastrophic fracture failure of engineering structures is caused by cracks that extend beyond a safe size.
It can be applied in many areas of engineering and science including fluid mechanics, acoustics, electromagnetic.

Introduction
With more and more research and development of ceramic materials, they have become one of three
key categories of engineering materials [1].
The new types of ceramics were classified into engineering structural ceramics and functional ceramics.
The engineering structural ceramics have wide applications because of their specific desirable properties at high temperatures.
Peteves: Ceramics International Vol. 22 (1996), p. 527 [5] A.E.
Drew: Journal of the European Ceramic Scoiety Vol. 19 (1999), p. 2173 [6] R.H.

Then, explicit analytical solutions are presented, based on the semi-analytical model previously developed by EL Kadiri et al. [1-2] for beams and rectangular plates, which allow direct and easy calculation for the first non-linear axisymmetric mode shape, with their associated non-linear frequencies of FG circular plates and which are expected to be very useful in engineering applications and in further analytical developments.
Introduction The concept of functionally graded materials (FGMs) was first introduced in 1984 as ultrahigh-temperature resistant materials for aircraft, space vehicles and other engineering applications.

Advances in precision engineering have led to the discovery of a “ductile regime” of operation, for nominally brittle materials, in which the material removal is plastic.
Davidge [1] studied the mechanical behavior of ceramics and opined the difficulties in machining ceramics.
