However, the utilization of thermal extraction residues with network structure is still ignored up to now.
It suggests that the mild oxidization depolymerized partially the cross linking structure of TRR.
It is also advantageous to relax the network structure of coal matrix and increase the extraction yield.

This thesis deals with the testing of our wet scrubber by a laboratory at the Faculty of Chemistry, Brno University of Technology.
Filling scrubbers contain a material that is structured or randomly arranged to provide a large wetted gas-liquid contact surface.
In view of these requirements was designed an experimental scrubber of which construction is based directly on the previous prototype scrubber developed at the Faculty of Chemistry, Brno University of Technology, under the designation ZK 400 [6].

This observation was supported by SEM image that shown the honeycomb structure with well-developed and irregular size of pores existed on the surface of the activated carbon.

The other approach is to use downstream plasma isotropic strip with reducing chemistries.
The key to success for the isotropic strip is to correctly choose the gas chemistry and process conditions.
First SEM inspection was conducted to check the cleanness, structure profile and CD retention.
Successful post-strip wet clean chemistries have been achieved with, Kanto LK-1 and LK-2, ATMI ST-255, PT-15 [3,4] as well as highly diluted HF.
