Introduction The fracture toughness is a property of major interest for the producers of pipe line steels.
Although the main factors affecting the toughness are well known there is still lack of information about the anisotropy of the toughness properties in the hot rolled plates.
To evaluate the distribution of the pearlite the image quality (IQ) factor of the EBSD measurement was explored.
Fig. 5 displays the changes in the IQ factor and the confidence index along a line that crosses different structural elements in the OIM scan.

Moreover, the conventional machines unable to provide complexity and superior mechanical properties in die or parts.
The mechanical properties of DMLS made parts are not fully rely on material utilized; they are also affected by the process parameters.
They have concluded relative density and mechanical properties are obtained at lower scan speed and layer thickness.

The investigated factors during the second phase of the analysis and their ranges are reported in Table 2.
As it is known, the factorial planes are utilised when the number of factors increases and all the set of the possible combinations are needed.
Anyway, the actual analysis can be classified as a screening which tries to identify a subset of significant factors among a more wide set.
Finally, the normal probability plot and the analysis of variance (ANOVA) were implemented to highlight the factors significance and the data robustness for both the responses.
Of course, more detailed information could be obtained by applying a more complex experimental plan, able to well detect the interaction between factors.

The experimental work was designed to study the effects of thermo-mechanical and thermal processing parameters on the properties of the Ti-6Al-4V alloy strip.
The tensile properties for this alloy are affected by heat treatment (microstructure), composition (in particular the interstitial content), and texture (primarily in sheet).
Tensile Properties.
This may be due to a number of factors including the relatively coarse microstructure, the oxygen content, and any directionality in the properties arising from unidirectional rolling.
These factors are currently being investigated in more detail.

Introduction As a kind of high elastic material, rubber has some unique properties of wear resistance and oil resistance.
For example, typically used are metal rotor and rubber stator in the submersible screw pump, and rubber thrust bearing of turbo drill and metal screw with rubber bushing in screw multiphase pump [1] .Because the rubber materials are prone to degumming, tearing or melting in the actual conditions, the practical performance of rubber material is greatly reduced, thus affecting the service life of this kind of equipment.
Wear behavior of rubber in this stage will directly affect the service life of the screw pump.
Experimental results and analyses The friction and wear properties of the rubber under constant load conditions Figure 2 shows the NBR and FPM's wear curve under the condition of constant load 100N along with the rotational speed change.
The friction coefficient is the comprehensive properties of friction pair system, which is typically influenced by normal factors load, rotating speed, temperature and surface layer physical properties [4].

Based on microstructure of pores obtained from Nitrogen absorption method and mechanical testing, a numerical shrinkage model was built.
It affects the mechanical properties such as strength and modulus[2].
Besides, many complex factors also involve in.
Creep was also proved to be an important factor to explain its effects in many mathematical models [8,11].

The Effect of Substrate Temperatures on the Structural and Optical Properties of Cosputtered ZnO and AlN Thin Films A.
The various applications of ZnO come from the interesting properties of this material.
The structural and optical properties of ZnO films are affected by the preparation conditions such as thickness of the films, substrate temperature, types of substrate, deposition pressure, annealing temperature and RF power.
Among these factors, the effect of changing the substrate temperature on film characteristic was less reported.

This paper describe various deformation models, yielding and an-isotropic properties.
The deformation mode, loading history and material behaviour are essential factors that affects the maximum admissible strain.
For anisotropic materials yielding properties are directional.
The criterion does not involve any shear stresses and cannot account for the continuous variation of the plastic properties between the material axes of symmetry [10].
The various mechanical properties of sheet metal that have been evaluated in tensile testing operation of AA6111 aluminium alloy are shown in table 1.

However, the applications of pristine HAp have limited due to low load bearing applications due to its inferior mechanical properties, especially fracture toughness properties compared to cortical bone.
The addition of second phase ceramic materials could be develop in order to enhanced mechanical properties of HAp including strength and toughness [5].

In this paper, introduces the ideal of green design and the technology of green manufacture in the process of ship building; analyzes the factors those impact the implement of the ideal of green design and the technology in the process of ship building.
Not only can it affect the economic indexes such as the ship loading capacity, speed, energy consumption, but also radically affects the safety of the ship performance.
When choosing marine equipment, designers should emphatically consider three factors such as low energy consumption, low pollution and high efficiency.
Should choose green coating with the properties of no pollution, saving energy resources, provincial energy such as water-borne coatings, powder coatings and radiation curable coating etc[5].
The Major Factors to Influence Green Ship Design Manufacture Although advanced ideas about green ship design manufacture have become a consensus in shipping manufacture, the concrete implementation of green ship design manufacture is still less than satisfactory.
