The EL spectrum has a broad maximum at 1700 nm (0.73 eV).
The electroluminescence (EL) and the photoresponse spectra were obtained using Solar TII MS3504i monochromator.
At a temperature of 120 K we were able to detect an EL signal at forward bias (Fig. 3a).
We could obtain EL signal even at a pumping current density as low as 0.75 A/cm2.
