Preparation and Characterization of Al/Pb Layered Composite Materials

Microstructure of the layered composite materials was studied by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Energy Dispersive Spectrometer (EDS), and then the flexural strength and interface adhesion of the layered composite materials were measured.
The surface of Al-Sn-Pb layered composite materials are observed by SEM, EDS after etch polishing.

Bai has pointed out, all of these fail to predict the
experimental results from engineering materials [9].
In this study, we use the Material Failure Process Analysis code (MFPA 2D ), to investigate the behaviors of fractures in layered materials.
Therefore, it is necessary to take the heterogeneity of materials into account.
In experimental study, fractures initiate at the pre-existing weakness in the materials.
We also find that heterogeneity of materials has a strong influence on the stress distribution.

There are various types of new ecological raw materials developed in recent years, and they can be divided into natural fiber material and regenerated fiber material, as is shown in Fig. 1.
According to the introduction in the magazine of Fiber Science in Japan, the circulation period of regeneration for starch which is the raw material of corn fiber is short, about 1 to 2 year (s).
