Micro-structure analysis shows that cement-based materials’ main adsorption methods are different when pH values are different.
Permeable pavement materials can discharge the rainwater very fast and prevent surface accumulated water.
Summary Cement-based materials have selective adsorption phenomenon for different heavy metal ions (Cu2+, Zn2+, Pb2+, Cd2+).In addition to zinc ions, the cement-based materials’ capacity of adsorbing heavy metal ions increases as the pH value and the temperature increase.

Experimental Analysis
Materials selection.
In the single combination case, since the combined materials are relatively thinner, the sound wave propagation through the materials quite similar to the uncombined material.
