Effect of Current Density on Microstructure of Mn-Cu Thin Films via Electroplating Coating Technique
Online since: November 2013
Authors: Maryam Haeri far, Morteza Zandrahimi
The crystallographic structure characteristics of coatings were analyzed using X-ray diffractometer model Philips X'pert MPD, with Cu ka1 (l=1.5405) radiation in the range of 35°–95° with step size of 0.01° and scan step time of 1.5s.
The obtained patterns showed centered tetragonal (CT) structure of g-Mn for Mn-Cu electroplated coatings.
As the current density is increased, the main diffraction peaks become wider, indicating a transformation to an amorphous structure.
The crystallographic analysis showed that the ductile g-Mn structure can be achieved at current densities of 400 to 1000 mA/cm2.

And the structures, morphologies, compositions and photoelectrical performances of the CIS thin films synthesized by different methods are compared.
CuInSe2 is a kind of tetragonal crystal system compound with chalcopyrite structure [3].
When the stoichiometry leaves 1:1:2, CuInSe2 will still have achalcopyrite structure and similar chemical property.
It synthesized polycrystal CIS thin films which have Chalcopyrite structure [11].

Abstract.
Their structures were characterized by NMR, IR and ESI-MS.
With the aim of studying the relationship between bisabolangelone’s structure and H+/K+-ATPase inhibitory activity, the semi-synthesis of bisabolangelone was conducted in our previous work [10].
Results and discussion 2.1 Synthesis and structure elucidation As the sesquiterpene-type bisabolangelone exhibited remarkably preventive and therapeutic action on gastric ulcer, the structure modification on this compound was undertaken in this work with the aim of studying the relationship between bisabolangelone’s structure and in vitro anti-ulcer activity.
Subsequent efforts to address the structure-activity relationship of this oxime ether derivatives and their gastric cytoprotective mechanism would be reported in due course.

Abstract.
While chiral recognition and asymmetric molecular structural elements are especially prevalent in biological systems, chiral structures and properties also may be found in organic polymers, various mineral phases, and synthetic materials.
The fused quartz yields a large fraction of the I3 intensity, indicating the larger defect concentration in the amorphous structure.

Materials science and engineering incorporate acquiring of the knowledge
on materials synthesis and processing, their composition and structure, properties and behaviour and
their functions and potentialities and its application to the devices, machines, units and other final
products.
Impact factors of the journals from the area of materials in the last years reached the journals from the area of physics and chemistry.
Number of discoveries, whether in the domain of material characterization or new materials that were the winners of Nobel prizes, starting from X-ray diffraction, Raman and Moessbauer spectroscopy, electron and scanning tunnel microscopy, up to polymer synthesis, semiconductors, supramolecular chemistry, high-temperature superconductors and fullerens, enabled this area to grow to the present level.
This way of total control over materials' structure and characteristics represents the bases of future nanotechnologies, whose influence on life and environment will be unimaginable from the present perspective.

Mg also holds the interest of researchers due to its high hydrogen storage capacity, high abundance, simplicity of structures and low cost; however its slow kinetics and high storage operating temperature above 600 K, limits its practical use.
There are only wide peaks of TiC and MgH2 reflecting that nano-structure was formed and no chemical reaction occurred between TiC and MgH2 due to thermodynamic in-equilibrium.

Fig.3 Alkalis leachability of mortar hydrated for 1day:
(a) on the surface of mortar; (b) inside mortar
Compared with reference mortar, mortar modified with redispersible EVA or E/VL/VC powder had looser structure and better surface hydrophobicity.
In this case, alkalis in mortar with looser structure were more prone to migrate up to the surface; moreover, external water can sustain longer time on the surface with good hydrophobicity; so there was enough time for alkalis inside mortar to migrate.

The most important point in the cellular glass technology based on volcanic and sedimentary rocks subjected to alkaline activation and subsequent thermal processing to form a cellular structure is the reactivity of the initial components, the conditions for implementation of their interaction and intensity.
There are aluminosilicate and siliceous framework "motifs" in the structure of perlite, which correspond to the structural construction of minerals that differentiate during crystallization of lava rocks: quartz, feldspars, and some zeolites [25].

The incorporation of crosslinking chemistry in latexs is recognised to provide a particularly effective means of enhancing the mechanical strength of the final film[7-10], so we introduced a new crosslinking system of DAAM and ADH in the emulsion.
The monomer of butyl acrylate (BA, CP), methyl methacrylate (St), hydroxypropyl methacrylate (HPMA, CP), ammonium polyacrylate (MA), acrylic acid (AA), diacetone acrylamide (DAAM), Sodium persulfate (NaPS), adipic dihydrazide (ADH) and Na2CO3 was purchased from Wangqing chemistry company.
Evolution of breaking elongation (ε) versus polymer-cement ratio are displayed in Figure 1(a), indicated the gradual decrease of breaking elongation with the decrease of P/C, which can be explained on the basis that the local and orderly structure of hydration products hinder free contraction of polymer chains, and results in decreased breaking elongation value.
