When it comes to polymers filled with wood particles there are essentially two major limiting factors that controls the final products end user applications; 1) diffusion and 2) sorption/solvent uptake of (especially moisture) the product, since these two processes lead to property degradation in the composite materials.
The authors investigated the effect of moisture on the morphology and mechanical properties of the composites.

In this paper, a numerical model has been developed to study the potential of use of cylinder bore surface texturing, in the form of circumferential oil grooves with different dimensions and densities, and their efficiency to improve the tribological properties of piston ring-cylinder liner tribo-system.
Towards this direction, modeling of tribological parameters, that affecting friction force is important.
These factors can be referenced from the studies of Patir [8,9].

Introduction
As a result of high mechanical properties like ductility and machinability [1], NCI is one of the widely-used cast iron types in the automotive industries.
Several factors can influence the property of the NCI during solidification.
Considering its broader application in the industries and susceptibility to pore formation during casting, a better understanding of the principles and factors affecting the volume changes could help one to control the micro defects.

Carbon black content is the key factor to affect the synthesis of MgO-SiC composite powders.
Introduction MgO-C refractory with excellent slag corrosion and penetration resistance and good thermal shock properties is widely used in steel making application.
Carbon was added to the refractories to enhance their non-wetting properties.
MgO-SiC-C refractory composite has good mechanical properties and thermal shock resistance [9], so it can be used as the substitute of MgO-C refractories.

This paper mainly analyzes the influencing factors of stability of side slope of the tunnel entrance and failure mode of side slope and puts forward the corresponding control measures to ensure the safety of the tunnel construction.
But when there are clay layers on the cross section of the side slope, groundwater will affects not only the stress field of the rock but also the strength of the rock, resulting in a loss of stability of rock mass.
Its stability mainly depends on the combination relations of structural planes and their mechanical properties.
This paper probes into the influencing factors and countermeasures of the stability of the tunnel entrance slope and hopes to provide theoretical basis for practical engineering.

Therefore, the skidding wheel distance and time are major factors of tyre wear and smoke [4].
In the Archard wear theory, the volume of tyre tread rubber eroded is defined as: V=KeFRHSD (15) where, V is the total volume of wear amount (m3), Ke is the wear dimensionless coefficient “Archard’s abrasion factor”, which depends on the wear conditions, heavy or moderate, and is affected by the material’s properties and its ability to wear.
Table 2 shows the tyre tread rubber properties [33].
All the simulations show the wheel spin-up overshooting, because the same friction force is affecting the wheel.

Several metal oxides had been deposited into the pores of alumina supports using the reactive properties of SCW [2] .
They found that the product can easily penetrate in porous structures such as alumina due to the gas-like transport properties and very low surface tension of SCW.
In this paper, the fresh and used samples were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), nitrogen sorption measurements and atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS) to characterize the properties of sorbent.

In this paper, the methods based on phonon scattering theory were applied to explore the thermal transport properties CNTs.
Since the discovery of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) by Iijima in 1991, the investigation of its physical properties has been conducted up to now, and it is realized that CNTs possess unique thermal transport and mechanical properties.
Furthermore, there will be an important influence on the thermal transport properties of CNTs.
In consideration of the conditions of temperature and axial strain applies to the CNTs, it is found that the dominate factor affecting the simulation accuracy is the exchange times in a unit time, not the exchange energy in each step.
In addition, the high frequency phonon peak in PDOS is an important parameter to be used to analyze the thermal transport properties of CNTs, and has significant worth in the precise investigation of the thermal transport properties of dynamic structures.
