Due to the excessive cost of new materials, a new method of design had to be sought and new materials introduced.
The use of waste materials, particularly RAP in the construction of pavements has benefits in not only reducing the amount of waste materials requiring disposal but can also provide construction materials with significant savings over new materials [5].

Failure mode transitions of materials were observed.
In similar investigations [4, 5], the relevancy of loading rate to crack growth mechanisms and failure mode of materials is studied.
The dimensionless functions AI(v) and AII(v) are universal functions of the crack speed v and the properties of materials [13, 14].

For the production of C/C-SiC composites with a gradient structure of the ceramic matrix - from a carbon matrix in the core to a SiC matrix on the surface new materials based on C/C composite with SiC nano-particles dispersed in the matrix were produced.
Introduction Advanced thermo-structural composites such as C/C, C/SiC and SiC/SiC are unique materials that possess excellent properties, such as high specific strength, high toughness and light weight.
The compromise solution is a C/C-SiC composite that unites the good properties of both groups of materials. [2] In the core we have the structure of the C/C composite, which gives the material the desired toughness and elasticity, and on the surface there is a layer C/SiC composite with good abrasion and oxidation resistance and the desired stiffness, which makes this material ideal for the production of brake discs.

The most commonly used materials for anti-reflection layers are: silicon oxide (SiO2), titanium oxide (TiO2) and silicon nitride (Si3N4).
Technological system, materials and methodology The Al2O3 solutions prepared by the sol-gel method were deposited using a spin coating technique.
This model is most often used for transparent oxide materials.

It products less impurities, and essential oils which extracted from raw materials could better reflect the characteristics of the aroma[5].
It is widely used in analysis volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds in water, soil, food, medicine, bio-materials, also in extraction of tea aroma components.
