Composites, with the combination of properties of component materials, are able to achieve the properties that none of the component materials has.
However, this kind of composite usually shows very poor mechanical behaviors in the corrosive environments due to the inherent poor anti-corrosion properties.
In this way the mechanical properties of the individual materials are fully exploited.
In addition, the adoption of pure aluminum thin film on the surfaces of the composite, which greatly improves its mechanical properties in the corrosive environments, also extends the application of organic polymeric composite to the bigger areas where good anti-corrosion properties are major concerns.

Among all the surface integrity properties, the residual stress profile is the dominating factor that influences the machined workpiece fatigue life [6, 7].
The material mechanical properties are also a strong function of the material microstructure states.
For example, the white layer formation in the machining process is reported to be a strong factor that influences the surface integrity properties [13].
The a phase has much superior material mechanical properties than the b phase.

Introduction Asphalt-aggregate interface is the decisive factor in asphalt concrete structures, which directly affects the performance of asphalt concrete, such as high temperature stability, water stability and structural strength, etc. [1].
Cohesive properties of the asphalt could according to the surface energy theory test to acquire.
Asphalt plays a role of binder in asphalt mixture, asphalt-aggregate bonding properties directly affect the life of asphalt mixtures.
And the changes of interface morphology depend on the factors of the volume fraction of asphalt and specimen molding time [12].
Therefore, developing a more reasonable test system, quantitative revealing the rule of asphalt-aggregate interface mechanical properties and establishing a more rational mesomechanics analysis model to predict asphalt macroscopic mechanical properties will undoubtly an urgent task in the industry.

Influence of Bi Addition on Wettability and Mechanical Properties of Sn-0.7Cu Solder Alloy M.I.I.
The effect of bismuth (Bi) micro-alloying additions on wettability and mechanical properties of Sn-0.7Cu lead-free solder were explored.
This in turn slowed the reaction rate between the bulk solder and the Cu substrate thus affecting the thickness of the interfacial IMC layer [18].
For instead, with Bi addition, the size of these IMC is significantly reduced, which leads to improvement in mechanical properties.
Fig. 5: Microhardness result of the Sn-0.7Cu+xBi (x=0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0) solder alloys Summary The effect of Bi in Sn-0.7Cu solder alloy on wettability and mechanical properties has been investigated.

From the two aspects of internal factors and external factors, this paper analyses the factors affecting the slope stability of open-pit, discusses the basic theory of slope stability analysis, and puts forward the criterion of slope stability based on the safety coefficient.
Effect factors on slope stability of open pit Factors affecting slope stability include internal factors and external factors.
The internal factors affecting slope stability include the formation and lithology, characteristics of rock structure surface, geological structure and ground stress
Lithology, including physics, chemistry, physical and mechanical properties of the composition of water, rocks, these are made of different rocks have destroyed their different characteristics[6]
External factors that affect slope stability including shock, hydrology, weathering, plant growth and human factors

The results show that the smaller grain size, the lower crystallization degree and the higher density and mechanical properties.
Moreover, these differences have important influence on the sintering, densification and mechanical properties of h-BN ceramics [3-11].
The fracture work of h-BN ceramics prepared by different submicron h-BN powder content Mechanical properties analysis.
Due to the lower density, pore was important factor affecting the mechanical properties of h-BN ceramics.
This is also one of the reasons for the decrease of density and mechanical properties.

Study on Mechanical Properties of Rebar HRB400 after Corrosion Ping Li a, Ying Wang Department of Civil Engineering, Luoyang Institute of Science and Technology, Luoyang 471023, China aeappol@163.com Key Words: Rebar, Corrosion, Strength, Elongation Abstract: The corrosion behavior of rebar HRB400 in 1.5 wt.% NaCl solution was studied, and the mechanical properties before and after corrosion were tested.
Therefore, the corrosion of rebar has been one of the main factors to cause the failure of concrete structures [5, 6].
The tensile mechanical properties, including yield strength, tensile strength and elongation, are tested by a hydraulic pressure universal testing machine.
For long samples, corrosion rate calculation and mechanical properties tests are made after they are immersed in thin hydrochloric acid to remove the scale on the surface.
These will affect the strength properties of rebar.
