Ceramic materials are widely used in the fields of aviation, chemical industry, military, machinery, electronics, so there are so many researches on ceramic materials.
As we know, nano-indentation test is an effective mean to study materials.
In order to use ceramic materials, it is significant to make further study on ceramic materials.
From the nano-indentation test of ceramic material, we can obtain more properties and make full use of ceramic materials.

Failure mode transitions of materials were observed.
In similar investigations [4, 5], the relevancy of loading rate to crack growth mechanisms and failure mode of materials is studied.
The dimensionless functions AI(v) and AII(v) are universal functions of the crack speed v and the properties of materials [13, 14].

It is indicated that the wear resistance of ceramic tools is affected by the molar ratio of C and N in tool materials.
This investigation is also laid a foundation for the future applications of the whisker-toughening ceramic cutting tool materials fabricated by carbothermal reduction process.
The ceramic cutting tools were fabricated by carbothermal reduction using TiO2 and C as main raw materials, the Ti(C, N) whiskers as toughening phase and commercially available precursor materials including Ti(C, N) particles and Al2O3 powder as the strengthening phase and the matrix materials.
On the other hand, due to the effective of diffusion between workpiece and toos such as the diffusion of Fe in workpiece materials to tool and Mo, Ni in tool materials to workpiece, there are new hard phases formed.

Several researches have been studied to find suitable solvents for their raw materials.
Some research tried to produce fiber form chitosan by solvent mixing and blending with other materials [29, 34].
Experimentals 2.1 Materials The experiments were conducted using 3 types of polymer : silk, gelatin, and chitosan.
