Ceria (cerium dioxide) has been used as support in different chemical process such as wastewater treatment, fuel cells, three-way catalyst (TWC) for NOx reduction in automobile exhaust gas emissions, catalytic hydrocarbon combustion, flue gas desulfurization (FGD) at high temperature, the gasification of fossil fuels, as well as other processes [3–4].
It is observed that the inclusion of copper in the structure of ceria led to decreases in intensity and broadening of diffraction peaks, suggesting that there was a reduction in the crystallinity of the material as the copper concentration was increasing.
This affirms is based on the data presented in Table 2.

The acute shortage of the electric power in a winter season, which is caused by the reduction of rivers drain with a simultaneous growth of power consumption, forces to look for new technical solutions on rational use of hydro-energy resources.
The analysis of performance data on the existing types of hydro turbines has showed that on the basis of DFIM it is necessary to use the hydro turbine of radial-axial (RA) type with low coefficient of rapidity to provide efficient operation of the HU for mini-hydroelectric power station (Fig. 2).
Reduction in HU is accompanied by increase in water consumption via the turbine (Fig. 6) according to static characteristics of the hydraulic turbine (Fig. 1).

Two electric propulsion ships, i.e. a chemical tanker built by Shanghai Edward shipyard and a semi-submersible vessel built by Guangzhou Shipyard International company,both had accidents, e.g. her swithboard overheating led to phenomenon of burning out due to excessive harmonic distribution,so relevant persons on the ship had to take measures of the speed reduction and power plant capacity reduction in order to guarantee safe operation of the ship[1].
Under the condition of ship's mooring manipulation from the main switchboard busbar, power quality disturbance data can be recorded,as shown in Figure 1[2].

Within the last decades, radical engine noise reduction was achieved with the appearance of high bypass ratio engine concepts.
The output of the synthesis code such as flight trajectory, aerodynamic parameters etc, is placed on an interface file which can be used directly as input data for the NASA Aircraft Noise Prediction Program (ANOPP) for calculation of the perceived noise level at selected monitoring stations.
This is due to the decrement of approach speed when flap setting is increased, thus, resulting in the reduction of noise during the approach.

Comparison of VT,FD data at three stress times with a fixed tS/tI ratio of 10:1. 6 shows VT,FD vs. tR for a longer, 104 s stress.
Most promising is the data plotted in Fig. 8: all of the VT,FD data taken, on the three different vendors, plotted versus tR2/tI (the inset shows the same data versus tR/tI for comparison).
This would be targeted at a given VT,FD value, ideally around 0.6–0.8 where the data varies linearly and has not yet saturated, minimizing the amount of time spent re-applying bias and maximizing the fidelity of the drift data.

Two objectives considered are real-power loss reduction, maximum nodes voltage deviation is kept within a range, and the absolute value of branch currents is not allowed to exceed their rated capacities.
Distribution system reconfiguration for loss reduction was first proposed by Merlin and Back [1].
System data is given together with the voltage profile of the base configuration. real power loss reduction is 10.49% and minimum voltage of the system has improved.

In addition to the magnet-responsive properties, various functionalities can be introduced to construct more sophisticated multifunctional materials, making them highly promising in catalysis, biomedicine, data storage and environmental remediation.
The Fe3O4@SiO2-Ag nanospheres have been exploited as a solid phase catalyst for the reduction of p-nitrophenol in the presence of NaBH4 by UV–vis spectrophotometry, which also exhibit enhanced catalytic reduction efficiency for rhodamine B and eosin Y compared with those of pure Ag or Fe3O4 nanoparticles [14].
