Introduction The determination of endurance and capability of high-temperature superconductor (HTSC) ceramics such as Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 (Bi-2212) phase superconductor are very crucial since they are capable to be fabricated as components in various applications of engineering functions and systems.
It was also reported that the strength of ceramics materials increases with decreasing porosity [12].

Abstract: The sintering behavior and the resulting of cermet are influenced not only by the characteristics and impurities of the raw materials but also are found to be dependent on the thermal history during the fabrication process.
In the case of 17Ni/(10NiO-NiFe2O4), the molar ratio of NiO and Fe3O2 for 10NiO-NiFe2O4 ceramic was 1.35:1.
Then, the ceramic-metal powder was dried and put into the hot-press dies, as shown in Fig.1.

A damage model applicable to ceramics
subjected to dynamic compressive loading is developed.
The primary mechanism of damage in ceramic is widely reported to be micro-cracking along grain boundaries.
All ceramic sample surfaces were lapped for flatness and parallelism.
