Introduction
Cement is one of the most important structural engineering materials, whose hydration and hardening process determine the final performance of cement and concrete products.
In the last few decades, piezoelectric impedance technique has been used in many fields such as mechanical engineering, civil engineering and aerospace engineering.
The present researches show that cement based piezoelectric composites have not only good piezoelectric properties but also good compatibility with cement based material, which exhibit potential application prospect in civil engineering health monitoring fields.
