Through "cavitation effect" and "chemical reaction" ultrasound destroies the structure of zoogloea and improves dewatering performance of the sludge.
Because the ultrasonic can destroy the structure of bacteria micelle and it produces “sponge effect” that water transferr from the channel to the exterior of sludge and become free water.

Effect of hexagonal crystal structure anisotropy on the selective grain boundary mobility
during texture formation and secondary recrystallization in Zn.
Zn has been selected for experiments as a material with thermal expansion anisotropy typical of hexagonal structure, whose plasticity changes significantly depending on temperature.
The different grain boundaries are more or less active according to their structure and chemistry.

Most of the diffraction peaks can be indexed to rutile SnO2 cassiterite structure with tetragonal lattice parameters.
In addition, structure of the films also changes from amorphous to crystallite with an increase in substrate temperature.
The pyrolysis temperature, Tpyr or substrate temperature, with distinct temperature boundaries between them will determine the formation of the structure.
SnO2 thin films which exhibit tetragonal rutile structure are successfully synthesized on glass substrates using chemical spray pyrolysis method.

The result of SEM confirmed that a dense network structure was formed after mTG treatment comparing to the native.
It was hypothesized that when the concentrations of gelatin were greater than 8%, a more compact network structure was formed due to the intense cross-linking reaction catalyzing with mTG.
The film samples with and without mTG treatment showed very different structure.
The mTG treated film (Fig.3 b, d) presented a denser network structure comparing to the native one (Fig.3 a, c, which showed a loose and disordered structure.
Conclusions The introduction of cross-linkages by the microbial transglutaminase in the formation of films with gelatin induced the change of film structure, which was confirmed by SEM, leading to changes in water vapor permeability of the films.

Thus, aryl carbonyl moieties with different length of 4-substituted alkyl acyl amine functionalized MWNTs(F-MWNTs) can be synthesized simply, without disrupting the primary structures of the nanotubes.
1.
It promises to be the best approach for improving the solubility of CNTs in solution, compatibility between CNTs and polymer, tailoring the structure and properties of CNTs, and preparing novel CNTs-based nano-devices, nanocomposites, and bionano complexes or adducts [4].
Experimental 2.1 Materials MWNTs were obtained from Institute of Organic Chemistry in Chengdu of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. 4-Aminobenzoic acid, polyphosphoric acid and phosphorous pentoxide were obtained from The Development Center of Chemical Agents in Tianjin. 2.2 Functionalization of MWNTs The F-MWNTs were prepared by Friedel-Crafts acylation as shown in Scheme 1(a) [11, 12].
Therefore, aryl carbonyl moieties can be grafted onto P-MWNTs by Friedel-Crafts acylation without oxidation treatment, which avoids ruining the nanotube structures.
Thus, nanotubes with specific functional groups or geometric structures can be prepared directly according to the requirements of polymer composites, which will lead to coordinated designs of CNTs and their composites.

When a higher water fraction is reached, the structure of emulsion particles change and the model will fail.
The Structure of the Micro-water Sensor.
The structure of the sensor for detecting micro-water (SDMW) is shown in Fig. 2, and the corresponding assembly diagram is shown in Fig. 3.
To improve detection precision, a multi-channel structure with 4 EWPs was adopted for on-line monitoring.

The capping agent helps in crystallite size reduction with hexagonal structure.
Results and Discussion Structural Analysis The XRD images of CdZnS nanocrystals show hexagonal structure with a single-phase formation (JCPDS-01-089-2943) as shown in figure 1.
The X-ray diffraction patterns revealed a hexagonal structure and smaller crystallite size for the samples with capping agent treatment.

Grain boundary precipitation and other minute local changes to alloy composition and structure influence the electrochemical indicators of the EPR test and, conversely, the EPR test can provide important information on the secondary phases and their distribution.
Yet the technique has had impact on pitting and crevice corrosion measurements as well as knife-line corrosion and SCC studies, and has been very useful in the examination of structures and phases.
