To produce Portland cement, a large amount of natural raw materials with high energy consumption is needed for its firing, especially high thermal energy consumption.
Therefore, it is very difficult to design a different composition of raw meal to save both energy and natural raw materials while achieving high quality and durability.
Materials and Methods The raw materials for the preparation and subsequent firing of the raw meal were calcium carbonate, CaCO3 (p.a., Penta), amorphous silica, SiO2 (p.a., Lach-Ner) and boric acid, H3BO3 (p.a., Penta), as a stabilizer.
