Introduction
Laser assisted machining is an effective method to improve the machinability of difficult-to-machine materials, where a high power laser is employed to focally heat a workpiece before removing material.

Reason mainly concentrated in the following, first of all, wear resistance and hardness related materials, materials, the higher the hardness, wear resistance materials the better, to material hardness relationship, that the wear resistance of QT500 and RuT35 better than RuT75, HT250 is the worst.
