QDs modified with different functional groups on the surface could form various QD-conjugates, but also provide a new chemistry for the application in materials and biomedical science.
The three peak consist with (1,1,1), (2,2,0) and (3,3,1) are correlated to the cubic structure of ZnS.

PLS-regression is the PLS approach in its simplest, and in chemistry and technology, most used form two-block predictive PLS.
PLSR is a method for relating two data matrices, X and Y, by a linear multivariate model, but goes beyond traditional regression in that it models also the structures of X and Y.

It was also found that finer WC in the cemented carbide structure promotes layer formation [1-3].
This result indicates that at otherwise the same conditions (same binder chemistry, same conditions during cooling) a clear WC size effect can be identified.
Additions of small amounts of vanadium to a Cr-doped submicron cemented carbide, prone to layer formation, can disturb or even inhibit the layer under the same cooling conditions, which demonstrates that the binder chemistry is a further important factor for layer formation.

Although the structure of lignosulfonates is quite variable depending on its origin, it is generally accepted that a wide variety of functional groups are present in lignosulfonate molecules [11].
