The microstructure of prepared carbon CMK-3 materials and SBA-15 molecular sieves as shown in Fig.4 are nanorods structure, which can’t identify the inside structure of nanorods from SEM image in Fig.4.
SBA-15 exhibited three clear characteristic peaks of hexagonally ordered structure shown in Fig.5 (a).
CMK-3 shown in Fig.5 (b) presented three characteristic peaks similarly, which demonstrated mesoporous structure.
As the TEM image in Fig.6 show, the inside structure of SBA-15 nanorods exhibits a long-range-ordered mesoporous structure in the whole domain.

Because of their size and versatile chemistry, nanomaterials represent today powerful tools for (bio)sensing applications.
Synthetic advancement in the last decade engenders AuNPs of different shapes and structure [40], including Au nanorods [41-43], silica/gold (Si/Au) nanoshells [44] and hollow AuNPs [45], which all show largely red-shifted properties boosting their values in photothermal cancer therapy [31,35,46].
Compared with other types of biomaterials (metals and ceramics), polymers can be synthesized in different compositions (structures, properties) to allow specific applications.
The flexible silica chemistry provides versatile routes for surface modification, because different types of functional groups can be easily introduced onto the NPs for conjugation with biomolecules [89].

Many techniques have been developed to produce metallic

In porous compacts with open structure the free flow of ions resulted in a material with increased corrosion resistance.

Abstract:Softwood pulp was used to prepare dissolving pulp suitable for viscose fiber by three procedures (liquid hot water, sodium hypochlorite oxidation and alkali extraction).
In that process, furthermore, the acetyl substances in hemi-cellulose branch structure were hydrolyzed to acetic acid, leading to a lower ph[6].
