In this paper, melamine (C 3 H 6 N 6) is modified by ionic liquid 1 - butyl - 3 –methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([BMIM] PF 6) and studied of modified melamine foam retardant effect of rigid polyurethane foam.
1 Experimental
1.1 Main raw materials
[BPy]PF6 (China Academy of Sciences Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics Centre for green chemistry); Polyisocyanate (black material), Shenyang Metro insulation plant; Polyether (including polyether polyols, water, catalysts, surfactants and other additives, etc., white material), Shenyang Metro insulation plant.

JF-3 oxygen index determinator: NanJing Jiangning District Analytical Instrument Factory
CZF-3 horizontal and vertical burning determinator: NanJing Jiangning District of Nanjing Analytical Instrument Factory;
HCT-1 integrated thermal analyzer: Beijing Hengjiu Scientific Instrument;
1.3 Sample Preparation
1.3.1 Preparation of melamine modified by ionic liquid [9]
A certain ionic liquid [BMIM
Next, a certain mass percentage modified melamine (relative to white materials) were weighed accurately and added to the white materials, Then poured black material into the white materials, and mix evenly.
N 2atmosphere, temperature range: 22 ~ 800℃, heating rate: 20 ℃/ min. 2 Results and discussion 2.1the effect of quantity of melamine on the oxygen index of rigid polyurethane foam Oxygen Index is an indicator for combustibility of polymer, and oxygen index method is a quantitative experimental method to measure the flame retardant properties of polymer materials.
