However, the breadth and lack of well-resolved structure in this band has been a serious impediment to studying its nature.
Here, we report the first observations of highly resolved 1.7 K photoluminescence (PL) structure in this region.
At lower energies, we observe highly structured PL in the 3.28-3.44 eV range with at least eight separate components.
The strength and detailed structure of the defect-related PL band typically varies dramatically with crystal polarity in the case of c-oriented platelets.
The structure of these bands also varies markedly from sample to sample (see Fig. 5), suggesting that many variants of the structural defects are present.

Comparing with other methods, electrospun membrane has high specific surface area, high porosity and the three-dimensional reticulate structure.

Uranyl-salophen complexes are well-studied complexes in terms of structure and property [7].
Uranyl ion is easily bound by the ligand to form a sandwich-type structure of uranyl-salophen-silica gel (USSG).
The complex was mixed with APTS to form the sandwich-type structure of uranyl-selophen-APTS.

Moreover, it was demonstrated that the photocatalytic properties were strongly influenced by their crystal structure [1-3].
For example, BiVO4 with tetragonal structure had photo-absorption property in the ultraviolet region (band gap 2.9 eV), whereas those with monoclinic structure showed absorption property both under visible light (band gap 2.4 eV) and UV light, and the photocatalytic activity of monoclinic phase was much higher than that of tetragonal one [3].
