Preface The volume contains selected peer-reviewed papers presented at the AMS-Workshop “Advances in Materials Sciences-2020”, which took place in the framework of the III International Conference on Advanced Technologies in Aerospace, Mechanical and Automation Engineering - MIST: Aerospace-III-2020 on November 20-21, 2020 (Krasnoyarsk, Russian Federation).
The main topics cover urgent researches and recent results in polymer and metal composites; dispersed materials; metallurgy and metal science, heat treatment of metals and alloys; corrosion and metal protection; tests, diagnostics and quality control of materials; structural and technological strength and performance of materials; materials science problems of the utilization of equipment, machinery, structures and metal waste.
The Conference was jointly organised by the International and Russian Union of Scientific and Engineering Associations (Moscow, Russia), Krasnoyarsk Regional Union of Scientific and Engineering Associations, and Krasnoyarsk Science and Technology City Hall.
We chose the Materials Science Forum to provide all contributors with the opportunity to publish their papers in an international, peer-reviewed journal.
The volume will be useful for a wide range of scientists and specialists of research institutes, design organizations, industrial enterprises, and educational institutions interested in materials science.

Thinking about the available process paths from raw materials to finished products, there are different equipments, raw materials or semi-manufactured products to couple the material requirements planning with task accreditation planning, therefore, some model algorithms will not work or be hard to find the solution.
In the course of modelling, there is some hypothesis as following: (1)Provided that infinite materials, energy, information and manpower resource expect to export in the source point, while there is an infinite storage to store these materials, energy, and information and manpower resource
(2)Provided that intermediate points with no ability to store materials, energy and information, just play a role of transportation
The subset of Apex set VS ⊂ is supporting or selling materials, which is intituled as Source Points, nonnegative number iD indicates the supporting ability or selling ability of apex , Si ∈ , and nonnegative number ip indicates the bargain price of apex Si ∈ .

Introduction Liquid crystal elastomers (LCE) are hybrid materials composed of liquid crystals (LC) and elastomers.
Elastomers are crosslinked polymer chains that have elastic properties and liquid crystals are mesogenic materials that have orientational order properties, so LCE have combination properties of both substances [1-5].

Clogging is mainly due to materials accumulation and the microbe growth within the substratum pores that caused remarkable reduction of hydraulic conductivity, then leads clogging.
Particle shape and material also influence the hydraulic conductivity.
