It also shows anti-bacterial properties.
Many researchers studied and reported different properties of chitosan films like it clear, homogeneous and flexible, with good oxygen barrier and mechanical properties.
Fibers: Kunike prepared Fiber from chitosan solution first time as early as 1926.[54] Fibers possesses many advantages such as superior mechanical properties compared with the same material in bulk form.
Both the solubility in acidic solution and aggregation with polyanions impart chitosan with excellent gel-forming properties.[90] Even though chitosan is known to have important functional activities, the poor solubility of chitosan is the major limiting factor in its utilization.
Modification of chitosan provides a powerful means to promote new biological activities and to modify its mechanical properties.

For nonlinear materials their properties in terms of the plastic and viscous behavior are introduced.
The finite element model of the cracked beam was also established by integrating the stress intensity factor to obtain the element stiffness matrix [3].
In this finite element analysis considering the flexibility due to crack it was found that the resonant frequencies and the vibration amplitude are considerably affected by the existence of the crack.
On the contrary as the d/L ratio goes on increasing second and third natural frequency has been affected for different crack depth.

Some film adhesion is good, can increase the film strength and elastic; some combination is good, thus it not only plays a variety of pulp properties, but also improves the serosa abrasion resistance.
ND J-79 Rotary viscometer, ASS3000 Full automatic single yarn sizing machine. 1.3 Experimental operation 1.3.1 Test of basic performance The basic properties of the size must be mastered when develop the size formula.
The basic properties of pulp slurry formulation are formulated to master.
There is a close relationship between adhesion performance and sizing effect and sizing quality, is one of important factors of sizing process.
But because the properties of various solid poly-acrylic acid sizes are different, the sizing affects differences.

In this simulation, HYSYS software was used for calculation, and PR and LKP physical properties packages and COMThermo database were selected.
HYSYS provides a powerful set of physical properties computing packages, and its basic data is also from the world's renowned physical data system, which has been rigorously verified by the company.
For components not included in the HYSYS standard library, the underlying data can be automatically calculated by defining a spurious component and then selecting HYSYS's physical properties calculation package.
These factors often have contradictory trends and require a comprehensive consideration of the adoption of a compromise.

Further, in some cases, they also determine the crack properties such as its width, shape, orientation and depth [2].
These factors cause the natural crack to be almost impossible to reproduce identically.
The crack width development is a crucial factor in studies dealing with the crack-related topics.

Our proposed microstructure simulation module was useful for designing hot forming process of
Ti-6Al-4V alloy
Introduction
Ti-6Al-4V alloy has been widely used for aerospace and power generation applications because of
low density and attractive mechanical and corrosion resistant properties [1].
In order to improve the dynamic and static properties in titanium α-β type alloys, the suitable volume ratio of α and β phases should be controlled by thermo-mechanical processing parameters such as temperature, forming speed, etc.
Especially, mechanical properties of Ti-6Al-4V alloy products forged at α-β region were directly affected by the volume fraction and grain size of equiaxed primary α phase.
Generally, the friction between rolls and ring workpiece is expressed by the friction law of constant factor.
Therefore, the value of friction factor is assumed to be 0.5.

The model was built with Equivalent Materials (EMs) characterized with appropriately scaled mechanical properties according to the similitude methodology.
The mechanical properties of the three different Hagia Irene masonry types and related scaling factors for the preparation of the shaking table tests were illustrated in a previous work [1].
Whereas, the time scaling factor was equal to 3.16 (square root of 10).
The latter resulted very similar the global FRF, confirming that the central arch is the most important macroelement affecting the global behavior of the structure.
This is particularly important as the used time scaling factor led to seismic input duration of less than 15 s.

However, tables are often inaccurate because of insufficient knowledge of the pipe properties and geometry.
The greatest error, however, is likely to be in the estimate of the wavespeed as this varies dramatically depending on the pipe, such as the material properties and the geometry [4,5,8,9].
Of interest here is how an error in the wavespeed affects the estimate of the distance .
It is also probable that the wavespeed estimate may be different in the two directions due to various factors in the measurements.
These predominantly affect the signal to noise ratio which has a profound effect on the wave speed estimate.

In the circumstance of two-body abrasion, hardness was an important factor, the property of wear resistance enhanced while the hardness increased except for TM steel.
It greatly affects the reliability and service life of the metal parts.
Wear is a complex process, involving many factors, such as counterpart, pressure, temperature, surface finish, lubrication and corrosion [1].
Therefore, the hardness is one of the important factors for the wear resistance in the present study.

Introduction
Polyolefins are being increasingly used in many applications due to their attractive properties, such as recyclability and lightweight, especially polypropylene and polyethylene due to their low cost.
Typical surface modification techniques for polymers include severe chemical oxidation [1] or mechanical processes [2].
The synergy of these two factors provoke lower values of polar water contact angles compared to the disperse diiodomethane.
An improvement on polar component is found in a higher extent when working with the torch than that of the vacuum chamber, thus a higher promotion of adhesion properties is expected.
Conclusions Plasma treatments are confirmed to be capable to increase polyolefinic adhesion properties without affecting bulk properties and with no generation of toxic waste (environmentally friendly processes).
