Changes in the properties of the composites after the experiment.
Blast furnace slag also demonstrated positive effects on the mechanical properties and resistance to aggressive ions.
However, the use of bypass admixture resulted in reduced mechanical strength and increased susceptibility to aggressive environmental factors.

Introduction Light alloys are widely used in aeronautical industry, due to their excellent mechanical properties and their low density.
Among the main factors that influence Ra are the cutting parameters: cutting speed, feed and cutting depth [9,10].
The apparition of both incorporations (BUL and BUE) causes an alteration in the initial tool geometry that affects to the surface finish quality of the pieces [13,14].
The most influential factor is the change produced in the edge geometry.

It is shown that the abnormal grain growth is controlled by the three keys factors of interface energy, strain restored energy and interface mobility.
Since then, the researches about nanocrystalline materials and nano-technology have been very active because not only these kind of materials have the unique physical and mechanical properties, but also it has been believed that they will be used widely in future.
There are a few of experimental reports to indicate that addition of some abnormally grown large grains slightly reduces mechanical properties of the single-phase material [7].
A value of 0.3s time step is chosen to balance those two factors.
Temperature is one of the factors to affect the value of interface mobility but it cannot affect the local interface mobility alone during annealing.

The Al-W alloy can only synthesize by mechanical alloying process, as the mechanical alloying is a typical non-equilibrium synthesis technology, can solve the problems brought by the melting point difference and density difference between aluminum and tungsten.
The hardening and softening mechanisms are both significantly influenced by many factors such as strain (), strain-rate (), and forming temperature ().
On the one hand, a given combination of thermo-mechanical parameters yields a particular metallurgical phenomenon (microstructure evolution); on the other hand, microstructure changes of the metal during the hot forming process in turn affect the mechanical characteristics of the metal such as the flow stress, and hence influence the forming processes.
The constitutive relations are often used to describe the plastic flow properties of the metals and alloys in a form that can be used in computer code to model the forging response of mechanical part members under the prevailing loading conditions.
At present, the technique to produce nanometer ultra solid solution of Al-W alloy powder by the mechanical alloying has matured.

Properties of steel cords are therefore crucial for overall strength of belts, if they are damaged, it may cause catastrophic failure of the whole conveyor.
Several factors cause belts exposure to the risk of damage.
These include: properties of transported materials (sharp edges of ore lumps), the impact of environmental factors (rain, snow, wide temperature range) and load variations inside belts due to non-stationarity of load stream.
Often cords are worn due to environmental factors (corrosion due to rain and moisture).
It should be underlined that one should take care about experiment because there are many factors that can affect acquired signals and further processing might not be successful.

Introduction Renewable energy is one of the important factors to create a sustainable world due to depletion of world petroleum reserves, unstable in crude oil price and environmental deterioration due to fossil fuel burning.
Nowadays, biodiesel is commercially being used with a goal to decrease the dependency on fossil fuel, reduce the greenhouse gases due to biodiesel has similar properties as petro diesel and is considered as clean fuel [1].

Since layup orientation of the laminates greatly influences its properties, an NDE technique for layup orientation determination would be very beneficial.
One of important factors is the layup sequence, which can greatly influence the CFRP composite performance.
The model is general and applies to any layup produced from plies with orthogonal properties.
The first assumption used is that the interface and beam spreading losses are negligible, that is, all signal reduction factors are equal to one.
It is thought that the fiber direction of CFRP laminates affected to shear wave ultrasonic signals.

Their main physical properties are shown as Table 1[1].
Table 1 Physical properties of glazed hollow beads physical properties unit performance index granularity mm 0.5~1.5 stacking density kg/m3 80~130 thermal conductivity W/m·K 0.032~0.045 glazed ratio % ≥95 water absorption ratio % 20~50 refractoriness ℃ 1280~1360 end-use temperature ℃ under 1000 Table 1 indicates that glazed hollow beads have many excellent properties such as: light mass, thermal insulation, fireproofing, high-temperature stability, low water absorption and so on.
The ingredient proportioning could affect the physical properties such as, thermal conductivity, compressive strength, permeability coefficient.
In the experiment, nine different samples were respectively made off, then their thermal conductivity, uniaxial compressive strength and other factors were measured. some test blocks are shown in Figure 2.
In the analysis, many complex factors are taken into account in the heat transfer coefficient().

Rainfall and river erosion are the major factors to cause the landslide.
More than 117 families, 583 residents have been affected.
According to mechanical properties, they are tension fracture, bulge fracture and shear fracture.
The above adverse factors developed, coupled to a certain extent, it caused the calcium muddy siltstone creeping along some weak surface and rock mass dip.

Introduction The ongoing advancement of wireless communication technologies depends upon improving already identified microwave ceramics or the discovery of new materials with enhanced quality factors (Q.f).
It was found that annealing in air was beneficial to the microwave properties and high quality factor ceramics were obtained.
The microwave dielectric properties for BMN ceramics are summarized in Table 2.
The major change on microwave dielectric properties on lowering the cooling rate was the increase in the quality factor.
