Introduction Material removal phenomena are very important in many fabrication technology processes and the clear understanding of the fundamental actions of how workpiece materials are removed by a tool is critical in the production of miniaturized devices.
They used silicon as the workpiece and the tool materials, using the Tersoff potential function.

Experimental results explain “cutting wear” and “deformation wear” mechanisms are effective in cutting both the mild and the brittle structure materials with AWJ.
The pressure of the AWJ affects the surface roughness as the thickness of the material decreases.
Thus, the material cutting is achieved.

Experimental 45 galvanized steel is the substrate, the solution for the 320 heads of granular materials zinc, 4% alcohol solution of nitric acid, chemical pure copper sulfate crystals, such as cupric hydroxide.
Thus, the use of film materials to meet the performance requirements under the premise of the preparation of the zinc film thickness should be as small as possible.
From Eq.(2), it can be seen that (1) film material melting point temperature and the temperature of the matrix material is the intrinsic difference of the major factors of stress; (2) intrinsic stress and film materials related to the elastic modulus of matrix material on the almost no sign of stress have an impact.

Material's non-linear behavior; convection and radiation boundary condition; the influence of gap at the interface of materials; and pulsed laser output power were considered.
Material physical properties are quoted from [8,9].
Due to the gap between two-piece of material, thermal conductivity is discontinuous at contact surface, the laser power was therefore divided in two parts: one part melted the upper material, the other part melted the second material's surface.
