The substitution of Co atoms by germanium atoms in UCo3 (PuNi3 structure type) yields stabilization of the CeNi3 structure.
The atomic positions have been standardized using Structure Tidy [15].

The structure is composed of three kinds of layers.
However, the so-induced changes in the crystal-chemistry and the magnetic properties are fairly small, hence suggesting that such partial substitution of Co by Ge atoms must be treated as a weak perturbation of the system.

The advantage of using nano-structured light metals is possible weight reduction of manufactured components.
Nano-structured metals also exhibit high strain rate superplasticity at relatively low temperatures.
However, the results presented in Table 1 and Figure 1 clearly confirm the potential of nanostructuring as a method for improving the specific strength of metals without changing their chemistry.
It can be easily demonstrated that vastly different grain structures may have the same average grain size.
These structures are likely to have different flow strengths [27].

IR spectra indicated that these complexes have similar structures, have bonded with the legends.
The IR spectrum of all doped complexes were determined in the range of 3500~500cm-1, showed that they have similar IR spectrum, indicated that they have the similar structure, here take Eu0.9Gd0.1(POA)3Phen as an example. 1523 cm-1, 1417 cm-1 were the expansion vibration absorption peak of carboxyl group, indicated that the carboxylic acid in POA took off the proton to coordinate with the europium ion by the acid radical.
