Bending Resistance of Short-Chopped Basalt Fiber Hydraulic Concrete and RC Element Junzhi Zhanga, Huating Liub, Yandong Zhuc, Zhaoqi Fud, Jing Zhaoe College of architecture and civil engineering, Zhejiang University of Technology, Hangzhou, 310014, P.R.
Introduction The basalt fiber is a kind of inorganic fiber material that it’s being studied in application and research in civil engineering at present.
The short-chopped basalt fiber mixing in concrete can advance the bending-resistance performance of concrete. 2) No matter what before and after chloride ion erosion with loading, the reinforcing effect of cracking-resistance performance of short-chopped basalt fiber RC beams is obvious, and the basalt fiber in concrete can postpone cracking time of concrete to advance the bending-resistance performance of RC beams.
