The Vickers microhardness was measured in the center of the grains using a micro-hardness tester Leica VMHT Mot applying a load of 1 gf for 10 s.
The grain centers used as locations for hardness measurement had been marked by indentations applying a high load of 500 gf at the etched specimen surface before the mechanical polishing.
The numbers of kinetic parameters which describe the considered phase transformation depend on the chosen model description.
The microstructure after quenching to room temperature exhibits a high number density of dislocations as observed with TEM: No other structural defects were found after intensive analysis [5].

Therefore, as the scale goes higher (lower frequencies), the sampling rate can be decreased thus reducing the number of computations.
However, due to the down sampling process the overall number of coefficients is still the same and there is no redundancy.

Nonetheless, these theories are generally limited to a single stage (sintering stages are defined, for example, in Coble’s model) and a single transport mechanism, while sintering is a very complex process, which may involve several different mechanisms for material transport [2]: evaporation/condensation, grain boundary diffusion, surface diffusion, volume diffusion, viscous flow… The classic two particles model (equal-sized spheres) has been used by several researcher for predicting densification during the initial stage of solid-state sintering of single-phase materials, such as alumina [3].
Computer simulations of sintering appeared between 1955 and 1965, and many researchers devoted much effort resulting in a large number of publications.
Rate-controlled sintering (RCS) of ceramics has been developed by Palmour and Jonson in 1967 as an empirical method for optimizing densification and grain size control.
In fact, the magnification of the optical system do not change with time or with the number of test performed.

Vanadium strengthens the steel and assists with grain refinement during heat treatment processes [1].
Mintz determined the free nitrogen content of a large number of plain carbon steels using specialised chemical analysis and developed the chart shown in Fig 1.
Fig 1 - Relationship between ∆Y and the free nitrogen content in the steel [6] Relationship between ∆∆∆∆Y and the V/N ratio A strain ageing analysis on 5.5mm rod from a number of heats of wire grade vanadium steel was undertaken to investigate the relationship between ∆Y and the V/N ratio.
The microstructure of the current steels was 80% pearlite, with the remaining 20% ferrite outlining the prior austenite grain boundaries (Fig's 6,7).

In addition to the above two problems, acquisited images suffer form speckle noise which is caused by the ultrasonic components reflected from the grain boundary of material[3,4].

Effects of number of dipping and calcination temperature on optical and structural properties of TiO2 thin films are investigated.
The transmission of the thin films of titanium oxide decreases with the increase in annealing temperature and in the number of dippings.

This value increases with the increase in the temperature treatment whereas it decreases with dippings number.
The influence of the number of dipping (film thickness) and the temperature treatment on Eg are investigated.

A designed experimental study has been conducted to investigate the effect of silica fume on mechanical properties and carbonation resistance of concrete, a large number of experiments have been carried out in this study.
The main reason of silica fume can improve the carbonation resistance of concrete composite is that the grain size of silica fume particle is smaller than that of the cement.
Conclusions In order to investigate the effect of silica fume on mechanical properties and carbonation resistance of concrete, a large number of experiments have been carried out in this study.

X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique was used to evaluate the crystallographic structure and crystallite size (grain size) of the samples using a Ni-filtered Cu Kα radiation (λ= 1.54 Å).

The short-circuit current was found [17] to be the result of the initial number of photogenerated carriers, electron injection efficiency from dye to photoelectrode materials as well as the rate of recombination between the injected electrons and redox couple electrolyte system.
Thus, the initial number of photogenerated carriers was significantly influenced by the light harvesting efficiency introduced by the aggregate structures.
