It provides extreme water reduction, excellent fluidity and optimum cohesion, together with a very strong self-compacting effect.
Thanks to the surface adsorption and spatial separation effect on the binder particles, the hydration process also helps achieve the following properties: suitability for cements with high C3A, sulphates and alkali; suitability for Portland cement, mixed cement and high-aluminium cement; increased development of initial strengths; high water reduction; reduction of crack formation and creep resistance, as well as short absorption time [31].
Another obvious fact is the reduction in the maximum penetration value after 90 days in comparison with the penetration after 28 days.

Sintering at high temperature is the preponderant approach for sludge treatment and disposal, because it drastically reduces the organic content and immobilizes the inorganic contaminants, giving the greatest possible volume reduction.
From the data shown in Table 1, it can be seen that the major chemical components in sewage sludge were SiO2 (24.90 wt %) and CaO (21.35 wt%), followed by Al2O3 (13.10 wt %), WO2 (10.44 wt %) and Fe2O3 (9.72 wt %).
According to the mechanisms of bloating and sintering [1], when the heating temperature is elevated, there are two physical-chemical changes from the surface to the interior of the pellets and these two phenomena are in dynamic equilibrium: (1) interaction of some materials leading to gas release to expand the body of the pellets, including the oxidation-reduction reaction between carbon and ferric oxides and dissociation of some mineral components; (2) melting of components such as flux (including CaO, MgO, Na2O, Fe2O3, and MnO) into a plastic-phase which confines the expansion of the bubbles by enveloping them.
Since pelletization by hand could not guarantee the sphericity of pellets, errors in the experimental data are unavoidable.

Preparation of composite material Blast furnace slag has an ingredient of compound, thus it can be used as the raw material to synthesize the composite material by means of carbothermic reduction-nitridation, this material can be used as a new generation of refractory material, in some fields such as inversion casting furnace bottom crevice materials, so as to improve the additional value of blast furnace slag.
Based on the relevant data, it shows that the area of silicon deficiency soil is considerably large in China, thus a large number of silicon fertilizer is required, for this reason, it has a promising market prospect.

Main advantages of LCM processes are related to the capability of manufacturing geometrically complex products with remarkable precision, flexibility of reinforcement architecture and reduction of human exposure to dangerous emission of volatiles.

As shown in the Figs. 6 and 7 a better response to bending is likely to be obtained with an infusion pressure higher than 500 mbar but the data revealed an unusual behavior of carbon fibers reinforcement obtained with 1000 mbar.
In general, the results showed that the reduction of vacuum pressure alters significantly the void content for the carbon fibers while the value of information decreases since only slightly detectable changes in the mechanical properties are provable.

The geometric data on the middle cross section of the profile was defined to verify the accuracy of the FE model.
Note that it is not suggested to apply an over-large thickness compression, as severe compression may cause the wall thickness reduction, the deformation of the shim block as well as higher requirements on the machine capacity.
The compression deformation to the profile thickness should be carefully controlled to provide the bottom/sidewall with a relative uniform stress state but avoid severe reduction of the profile thickness.
