Failure Analysis of Metallic Materials in Sheet Metal Forming using
Finite Element Method
Pedro Teixeira2,a
, Abel D.
The optimisation of sheet metal processes by using numerical simulations has become a key factor to a continuously increasing requirement for time and cost efficiency, for quality improvement and materials saving, in many manufacturing areas such as automotive, aerospace, building, packaging and electronic industries.
The introduction of new materials brought new challenges to sheet metal forming processes.

For the 800 oC sample, the materials seem to be more crystalline with individual polyhedral shapes.
The XRD patterns of all the materials are matched to the ICDD reference pattern number 01-089-2810 which is α-Fe2O3 rhombohedral structure with space group R-3c.
Therefore, it can be seen that purity, phase and crystal size are dependent on the heat treatments done on the materials.
This parameter also affecting the crystallite size and morphology of the materials.

Especially, after the vibrating screen sustained thousands or millions of circular loads, brittle fracture will occur even if the screen box’s nominal stress is far less than the strength limit of materials.
E—the connecting area of the baffle of material added to screen box.
The vibration fatigue S-N curve of the vibration screen material are identified through the sample test, the test material has the same characteristic, constraint condition and load as vibration screen.

Silicon can retain its semiconductor characteristics even at a high temperature while the other semiconductor materials cannot.
Prior to this time, radiation effect studies involved investigation of only the bulk properties of semiconductor materials and devices.
Accordingly, much effort followed in the pursuit of various doped and otherwise modified gate dielectric materials.

However, titanium and its alloys are usually considered as extremely difficult to cut materials because of their low modulus of elasticity, high chemical reactivity with cutting tool material and its high stress and strength ratio at elevated temperature makes the machining further difficult [3, 4].

This anisotropy is believed to stem from the strong texture found within the material, which is the Goss texture commonly found in low stacking fault energy materials.
