Different parameters may affect mechanical properties of CFST columns such as slenderness ratio (λ), load eccentricity ratio (e/r, r = D/2) and fire proof coating thickness (a) are considered.
Based on the test of 48 stub columns, the principal factors affect the ultimate loading capacity such as peak temperature, peak temperature maintenance time and steel ratio were analyzed.
Damage coefficient of bearing capacity (kr) was defined and the main factors influencing kr were analyzed.
It was found that load ratio, slenderness and cross-section dimension are the major factors to affect the residual strength of CFST columns.
The mechanical properties of them after exposure to fire had also been studied.

The material of furnace pipe for the HK40 are able to meet the process requirement, but the wall thickness of reformer pipe is too large, affecting the thermal efficiency and the inner diameter is small to limit the catalyst and flow.
So, the microstructure, mechanical properties and life prediction and assessment are done for the main components (riser, reformer, low collecting pipe and socket) of the harp pipe of reformer furnace radiation section run for 100,000hrs in this paper.
The main components of reformer furnace can be also used for two to three years if other occasional factors are taken into account, value of P can be calculated according to the maximum wall temperature and can be mended occasionally.

From the perspective of the mechanical properties influencing surface roughness, the establishment of mechanical model of surface roughness in high-speed machining and the effective prediction of surface roughness will greatly reduce the cost of tests.
In addition, domestic and foreign scholars have taken the cutting speed, feed and back cutting depth and other cutting parameters into the main consideration in the study of the factors affecting surface roughness.
Therefore, the workpiece physical properties can’t be ignored in the surface roughness researches.
Otherwise, the remnant height is one of the main factors affecting surface roughness according to the roughness geometry definition.
It proves that the mechanical model can reveal the effect of the machined material physical properties on the surface roughness, especially the effects of the flow stress in the strong thermo-mechanical coupling of the cutting area.

Introduction Magnesium alloys have low density and good properties, which include high specific strength, good mechanical properties, and excellent electrical and thermal conductivity.
AE42 AEJ4202 AEJ422 Fig. 2 XRD of the samples Material thermal properties .
The stability of the second-phase particles (melting point and thermodynamical stability), the refined grains and the aluminum supersaturation of α-Mg are major factors influencing the creep resistance of AEJ series alloys.
Therefore, the proper control of the addition of Sr is an efficient way to strengthen the thermal properties of AE series alloys.

Factors affecting the hydraulic press process to recover neem oil including pretreatment of raw material (whole seed, kernel); raw material moisture (3 ÷ 8%); pressing time (1 -15 minutes/turn); the number turn of presses (1, 2, 3), and pressing pressure (150 ÷ 210 kg/cm2), were examined in this study.
Pressing time was a factor that needs to be investigated as it directly affected oil recovery efficiency and operating costs.

The influence factors of bearing capacity of water-lubricated thrust bearing and its improving methods are studied.
Secondly, the main factors of affecting bearing capacity are analyzed.
Influence factors of water lubrication thrust bearing’s bearing capacity Materials and hardness match of bearing friction pair.
Many influence factors of thrust bearing, in addition to bearing material and hardness, the viscosity of the water, structure and design parameters are also the important factors that affect the bearing capacity, and the changes would affect the distribution of the bearing water film, so affecting the bearing capacity.

Addition of antimicrobial substances such as silver or titanium nanoparticles has been shown to enhance the antimicrobial properties of PMMA resin by reducing microbial adhesion [3-5], but in turn may affect the mechanical and physical properties of the material [6].
It should be kept in mind though, that with the improvement in antimicrobial properties of the material, the physical and mechanical properties should also be maintained within ISO standards.
Therefore, the addition of vanillin can also affect the properties of the original material.
The flexural properties of PMMA resin can be affected by various factors such as cross-linking agents [19], residual monomers [20], powder to liquid ratio [21], porosity [22], curing process [23], and water sorption [24].
The incorporation of vanillin into self-curing orthodontic PMMA resin can affect its physical properties, namely flexural strength and flexural modulus.
