Melt processability and product quality are defined in terms of glass properties.
Glasses are formulated using mathematical relationships, also called models, that link key properties to glass composition.
Thus, glass formulation proceeds in the following steps: 1) For the given waste, determine a glass composition with optimized properties using propertycomposition relationships. 2) Prepare a simulant of the glass using nonradioactive surrogates and measure its key properties. 3) Compare measured and calculated properties and adjust the formulation if necessary. 4) Prepare the final simulant glass and measure its key properties. 5) Prepare glass from the actual waste and measure its key properties.
Processing Problems Not all processing problems can be avoided by formulating glasses with desirable properties.
An important factor affecting the heat-transfer rate is the melt viscosity, which influences the velocity of natural convection in the melter and the extent of bubble/foam accumulation under the cold cap [12].

(3)Analyze the influencing factors of each risk model and calculate its risk-free rate applying risk analysis methods depending on the reliability theory
The above shows that the two main factors of the dam failure are overtopping and dam instability.
There are many reasons for the embankment dam instability, the dam material properties, the water level and the reservoir water level changes, the high flood level, or high drawdown are all very likely to cause instability [6].
Among them, the change of dam front water level and physical and mechanical indicators of soil are the main cause of instability.
Often most of the actual impact factors of systematic risk of embankment dam are continuous variables, so risk value will be affected after the discretization of continuous variables.

The effects of the loading ratio and P2VP chain length on the morphology and properties of the prepared nanoporous silica films were investigated.
This study demonstrated a methodology to control pore morphology and properties of the nanoporous silica films through the templating of PS-b-P2VP.
Poly(methyl silsesquioxane), PMSSQ, has been developed as low dielectric constant materials because of its low dielectric constant, excellent thermal and mechanical properties.
The effects of the loading ratio on the morphology and properties of the prepared nanoporous silica films were investigated.
The physical properties of the prepared nanoporous silica films are shown in Table 1.

Important factors which impact on stress state in cutting zone and thus on fine blanking include tool geometry connected with blanking die design and the properties of the blanked material [1,4-11].
Optimal selection of factors which allow for obtaining high-quality products requires laborious tests or alternatively they can be determined in numerical analysis of the fine blanking process [2,5, 12-15].

Flexural Strength Testing Good mechanical properties are important for bipolar plates.
This finding agreed with the previous research [13] that reported the increase in mechanical properties of composite bipolar plate in increased pressure.
The only factor which affected the electrical conductivity was compression pressure, whereby increased pressure resulted in higher electrical conductivity [10,11].

Introduction Slope instability often brings loss to people’s property and also produces serious threat to person's life.
Due to the complexity of geometric shape and the uncertainty of boundary conditions of rock mass, this makes the associated mechanical problems difficult to solve by analytical method, and numerical simulation just can make up for the shortcomings and solve this mechanical problem in a powerful way.
Numerical calculation principle and analysis results Soil is a rather complex assemblage, its mechanical behaviors are non-deterministic.
It can be seen that the simulated results are in much accordance with the results calculated by limit equilibrium method, hence, for slope mass, water is the key factor that cause the instability of slope, which is consistent with practice, because according to the investigation, it was during the rainy season that the slope come the situation.

Obviously, properties of such a material are directly related to its micro-structure, which is decided by the packing history, particularly in the sol-gel transition regime where close particles are being packed to the final structure.
Numerical Method Molecular dynamics is the most straight to solve packing particles, where the mechanical balance on each particle is solved on the basis of the Newton law.
In mechanical terms, the diffusion of particles can be solved by osmotic force.

Electrochemical drilling (ECD) as an important branch of electrochemical machining (ECM) is a useful technique for processing micro holes on many hard-to-machine metals, such as nickel based super alloys, titanium, and molybdenum with good machining surface and relative high stock removal rates regardless of their mechanical properties, such as hardness, elasticity, and brittleness [3–5].
The voltage is an important factor that influences the shape of micro hole.

Even so, the addition of binder during the loading process will be bound to affect the properties of monolithic catalysts.
Hence, it could inferred that the concentration of O2 in flue gas had a great influence on SCR reaction in a hypoxia state, whereas other factors gradually played a leading role when the oxygen content exceeded 3%.
