Abstract: The investigation of physico-mechanical properties of metal-carbon (Cr-C and Mo-C) coatings obtained using pulsed vacuum arc deposition has been carried out.
Cr-C and Mo-C coatings obtained possess good durability and low friction coefficient, and can be promising materials for applications as hardening coatings and solid lubricants in engineering and automotive industry.
