Stability studies:
Generally, maintaining the physicochemical stability of delivery carriers is one of the important requirements in formulation.
There were no changes observed in particle size and PDI (data not shown) in each formulation over a period of 2 months.
As known that Coconut oil becomes solid at low temperature, coconut oil nanoemulsions showed to be stable at 4°C without recrystallization of oil could be due the low concentration of oil in the final formulation (8.3 %w/w) together with the reduction of crystallization temperature of fatty acid of coconut oil in the nanoemulsions [9,10].
