The peaks shown in the Fig.1a correspond to the cubic side center crystal structure Cu2O which is close to the literature value (PDF#78-2076).
UV-Vis analyses of photocatalyst The light absorption characteristics of the semiconductor photocatalyst are determined by the electrons and energy band structure and are closely related with its photocatalytic activity.

When the tBP was set to more than 30 min, any porous structure could not be observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM) irrespective of the phase separation period (tDP) (data not shown).
As expected, the gel became porous probably by locking-in the generated porous structure through the phase separation.

Because solutes interact with the material microstructure, solute effects extend beyond modifying chemistry to the extent that solutes may control material properties even when they are present in tiny amounts.
Ab initio electronic structure calculations can be used to calculate the segregation energy at various locations in specific boundaries.

The formula is: (2) Where VIPj means the projection importance index of the jth independent variables xj, p is the number of independent variables; whj is the jth component of wh, which is used to measure the marginal contribution of xj to structure the th component.
The previous VIP indicator only shows the impact degree of a single independent variable on the set of dependent variable, the following method can be visually observed the correlation structure of the independent variable Xi for each dependent variable Yk.

Also they are a kind of high-quality raw materials for manufacture which can provided with the antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and other characteristics. 2 Experimental 2.1 Primary material The white Honokiol and yellow quercetin were chosen by consulting to《Work Handbook of Comparison Varieties about Chinese Traditional Medicine Chemistry》[3].
The greater the inhibition zone is, the better the antibacterial effect may be, otherwise the difference. 3 Results and discussion 3.1 UV shielding Capacity 3.1.1 FT-IR spectra testing With the help of infrared testing, main groups and structure of the powder surface can be analyzed according to the characteristic absorption peak.
This means that some chemical reactions happened when nan-TiO2 and honokiol or quercetin meet, which derived the antibacterial ability of honokiol and quercetin by causing the changes of molecular structure of them.

These precipitates gradually grow and during this growth process, hydroxide particles grown up and connected together to form network structure (Fig.1).
During the precipitation, the freshly generated hydroxides aggregated, and present a three-dimensional network structure (Fig. 1).
