Abstract: The Chinese nickel-base powder metallurgy (PM) superalloy FGH96, which was
processed through hot isostatic pressing, is very difficult to deform.
Introduction Turbine disk is the key component of aero-engine, but engine performance and durability have been limited by the availability of suitable materials for the very high working temperature and stress.
