Material Transaction, JIM, 34(4), (1993),p. 312-318. ]: α→G.P zone →(γ")→γ′→γ.At the initial stage of aging period,the appearance of G.P.zone play an important role in the subsequent precipitation of metastable and equilibrium phase.Futhermore,alloy strengthening is influenced importantly,too.The G.P. zone precipitates are researched by means of TEM by W.Bonfield[4] ,the results show that G.P. zone is made of 90%Be and 10%Cu atom,while the diameter and thickness are 10nm,1nm respectively.For all that,the G.P. zone dure to spinodal decomposition at the initial stage of aging period was barely reported at home and abroad.This article reveals the spinodal process in the initial stage of aging period ,based on the research of phase transformation of C17200 alloy. 1 Expermental Materials and Methods The experimental materials are made from cold-rolled C17200 alloy roll whith thickness 0.6mm,whose chemical compositon is showed as Table 1.The cold roll was experienced solution treatment(800
