To obtain the material monotonic properties, tensile test has been carried out and to specify the material mechanical properties of the used material, a fatigue test under constant amplitude loading has been carried out using the ASTM standard specimens.
Based on another part of the results, the differences between measured and FEA predicted strains obtained for two types of materials knuckle were found to be reasonable for the complex geometries considered.

The activated carbon contains 85-95% carbon obtained from materials containing carbon and heated to high temperatures of about 500 ºC [11, 12].
The activated carbon is basically made from various materials that contain carbon, such as wood, bone, coconut shell, and sawdust residue.

In this paper, a single-phase 6KVA,
240VAC/30-70 VDC electric arc welding machine was designed and constructed using locally
available materials.
Fig.1, block diagram of the AC/DC arc welding machine In view of the escalating cost of imported materials and finished end units for various applications, there is the need to harness and put together locally available materials in the desired shapes to achieve the equipment technological and scientific objectives.
The low cost developed machine is one of the most useful equipment in the construction industry where pieces of materials need to be welded together for specific application.
