Keratin solution is featured with nontoxicity and skin affinity, the macromolecules of which has a structure similar to cashmere fiber, capable of forming a layer of protein membrane on fiber surface, and thus decreasing surface friction characteristics, enhancing the antipilling property of the corresponding fabric.

The chemistry and homogeneity of the alloy was determined by analysing in a CAMECA SX100 electron probe micro analyser (EPMA) and was confirmed to be having homogenous composition of Cu-10 at. % Al.
These pieces were encapsulated in quartz tubes in He atmosphere at a residual pressure of about 16 kPa and annealed at 1223 K for 72 h to homogenise the materials and to form stable coarse grained structure, which reduces the contribution of grain boundary diffusion in the diffusion annealing stage.
