The geopolymer technology can reduce the CO2 emission by 80-90 % as compared with OPC [1]. geopolymers materials has early strength, low permeability, excellent resistance to chemical attacks, good freezing-thawing cycles and a tendency to immobilize the heavy metal ions in the geopolymeric structure [2-4] .The geopolymer synthesizing technology is based on the alkaline activation (a mixture of NaOH/or KOH solution with sodium/or potassium water glass) of source materials rich in silicon (Si) and aluminum (Al) in amorphous form like the fly ash [5].

Abstract: An Internal Circulation Impinging Stream Biofilm Reactor (ICISBR) was developed and used for treatment synthetic organic wastewater with corncob as biofilm carriers.
Materials and methods ICISBR system The structure(Fig.1) of ICISBR comprised two main parts: the upper fluidized biofilm reactor(FBR) with an effective volume of 11.7L (198mm inner diameter) and the lower inner circulation impinging stream absorber (ICISA) with an effective volume of 18.3L (230mm inner diameter).
