Predictive modelling is a statistical approach using data mining and machine learning based on historical and current data to predict likely future performance [1].
The models were trained on randomly selected 80% of the actual data while 20% of the actual data (the hold –out data) was used to validate the model.
Thereafter, the predicted data was then correlated against both 80% and 20% of the actual data to validate each of the models.

The XRD results data is processed using X'Pert High Score Plus software that is installed in the instrument and matches to JCPDS 00-49-0207 reference numbers for the LTO spinel phase and (JCPDS 01-076-0318) for TiO2 rutile [7].
