In the case of presence of great number of eutectic clusters of Al-Mg2Si eutectic in the HAZ or very near the fusion line, due to formation of liquation cracks in such places, rupture may take place in the HAZ or directly in the fusion line.
The microscopic metallographic tests revealed slight stirring of the material in the weld area and relatively small grain growth as well as the precipitates of phases in the weld and HAZ.

It was observed that the hexagonal pore cells have a tendency to separate within the grains boundary which can be attributed to strong repulsive force among the pore cells caused by high volume expansion at high field.

It is found that the prepared samples are anatase titania with average grain size of about 10 nm and the BET specific surface area of about 130 m2/g.
Furthermore, considering that the ionic radii of the doped metal ions (Cu 2+: 0.072 nm, Fe 3+: 0.064 nm, Pd 2+: 0.086 nm, V 5+ : 0.059 nm) are similar to that of Ti4+ (Ti 4+ : 0.068 nm) for a coordination number of 6, these doped metal ions can likely be incorporated into the TiO2 matrix by substituting for the Ti4+ lattice sites.
