The substrate yarns were immersed in concentrated adhesive then removed excess materials and dried at ambient condition for overnight.
When the adhesive was loaded with a critical or higher concentration of electrically conductive filler, a transition from insulating materials to conductive materials occurs.

This work involved an evaluation of a Al-4wt%Si-2.5wtCu alloy to be used as raw materials in the thixoforming process.
In this context, the use of continuous or direct chill casting and electromagnetic stirring of billets to refine the material’s microstructure has proved to be one of the best ways to produce raw materials for thixoforming processes.
This phase melts at high temperature, providing the rheological behavior typical of these raw materials.
