The structure of the phases formed during crystallization was studied using a "Dron-2" diffractometer with Cuα-radiation at a tube voltage of 36 kV and a current of 10 mA.
It was revealed that these crystals have the structure of priderite — an Australian mineral that was studied by Norrish and later artificially synthesized by him [7].

The results of chemical structure, photocatalytic activity, mechanical and morphological analysis of biocomposite films were examined using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, UV-VIS spectrophotometer, universal testing machine and scanning electron microscopy, respectively.
They correspond to a PLA blending PBS at 30/70 and composition of ZnO nanoparticles in PLA/PBS with concentration of 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 wt%, respectively. 2.2.2 Chemical structure The chemical structure of biocomposite films were elucidated by using an attenuated total reflectance-Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR) spectrophotometer (Model Frontier, Perkin Elmer, USA) in the wavenumber range of 4000–400 cm−1. 2.2.3 Mechanical characterization The mechanical properties of biocomposite films were investigated by using an Instron Universal Testing Machine (Model H50KS, Hounsfeild, USA) at room temperature as following to the standard test method of ASTM D 882.
Results and Discussion 3.1 Chemical structure The chemical structure of PLA/PBS, PLA/PBS/ZnO-0.1, 0.3, 0.5 and ZnO nanoparticles were elucidated by ATR-FTIR.
